Main Feature of BMT Z35 Rolled Prepainted Steel Coil for Construction

1.Corrosion resistance: It mainly depends on the aluminum protection. When the zinc being worn, the aluminum will  form a dense layer of aluminum oxide, resist corrosion material to prevent further corrosion inside. 
2. Heat reflective: Galvanized steel plate heat-reflective high rate is twice as galvanized steel, often used to make insulation materials. 
3. Economy: Because density of 55% AL-Zn is smaller than the density of Zn, so in the same weight and thickness of Galvanized zinc layer, aluminum-zinc steel plate is larger area more than 3% of galvanized steel sheet.

I dont know percentages just that it is basic steel with added carbon it is used for tooling and other reasons that need a steel that can be hardened ~~

Carbon fiber has better tensile capability then steel meaning its better while pulled aside. Plus you could mould the fiber to make autos-or homes-out of carbon fiber.
Q:I am about to do a welding project and we are instructed to only use mild steel. I want to use found objects like coins, spoons, bottle caps, screws, and other small fasteners. Are these mild steel? What other objects can I use that are mild steel?

Q:I have some steel wool and a charged 9V Battery, when I connect 2 wires to the battery, then touch the wool with the ends of the wires the wool instantly starts burning, but when I connect 2 wires to the piece of steel wool (a new piece not same one of course) and touch the battery with the ends of the wire nothing happens (see image...)
What's happening in the first case is that the initial contact of the wire to the steel wool is not very good and there is a high resistance as the touch is made and there is probably a slight spark that starts the steel wool burning. Now it is even harder to make good contact and the process continues. In the second case there is initially a good contact to the steel wool and there is no spark when the circuit is completed at the battery. It would be difficult to cause the heating and the spark at a distance unless you had a way to remotely cause the wire to lightly touch the steel wool. A gas lighter which uses a flint to create a spark is good for igniting a gas burner which will continue to burn by itself, but probably wouldn't cause the steel wool to burn without the energy coming from the battery to keep it going. Steel wool WILL continue to burn if it's in a pure oxygen atmosphere. You might try hooking the battery up to the steel wool as in the second case and using a spark lighter to start some burning close to one of the wire connections to see if the extra battery power might keep the burning going.
Q:Hello... I'd like to know where I can find proof of this answer as well please. My own searching didn't come up with anything concrete.I'd like to know how much the ambient temperature inside of a hollow steel tube would rise by if the outside of that tube was exposed to an 1100 degree flame for a period of 3 seconds.If specifics help, they are something along the lines of 3.125 O.D. tube, 0.35 wall thickness. High grade steel, can't be more specific than that sorry.Thanks for any answers!
I cant see how you could solve that when you don’t know the type of steel ( specifically). There are many in the range you have stated. Also volume, respecting the length of the tube and coverage of the exterior heat. Logic tells us however 3 seconds is not very long so next you would need to know are the post factor. if the flame was from say a cutting torch and the tube was 20' in length in an ambient exterior temp of 32deg. We could us known a test and determine the rate at which the heat was spread out through the steel. You can also measure pressure in the tube You can find easily resource material on the amount of energy it takes to raise temp by a factor of one. By testing the pressure of a sealed tube of a given length you can apply the solution in scale to your problem. You can also try sticking your finger in it.

Not all tool steels work well in knife blades, but some of them are very popular. D2, M2, M4 and many others.
