PORTLAND CEMENT

Portland cement is the most common type of cement in general use around the world, used as a basic ingredient of concrete, mortar, stucco, and most non-specialty grout.

It is a fine powder produced by heating materials in a kiln to form what is called clinker, grinding the clinker, and adding small amounts of other materials.

Several types of Portland cement are available with the most common being called ordinary Portland cement (OPC) which is grey in color, but a white Portland cement is also available.

Application

CNBM Cement can be used for all types of architectural or structural concrete construction. Such application as pre-cast panels and systems, cast-in-place, masonry units, tilt-up panel systems, roofing tiles, terrazzo floors, highway median barriers, tile grout, swimming pools, stucco, culture stone, colored masonry products, cement paints and coatings, and ornamental precast concrete items.

Q:Are you a trading company or manufacturer?

A:CNBM is a large-scale central governmental industrial group with its own manufacturing sector, research and development sector, trading sector and logistics sector.

Q:I have some special requirement about specifications.

A:We have a well-rounded product range, which endows us with the capability of applying many special specifications. Please feel free to contact us with yours.

Q:Do you accept OEM service?

A:Yes, we do.

Q:What is your delivery time?

A:It depends on the size/complexity of your order and our own production schedule. Usually we provide a faster delivery than the industry's average.

Q:What is the payment term?

A:TT and LC are both Okay.

Q:Can I have my own logo on the product?

A:Sure, we can apply your own logo on the products according to your drawings.

Q:if it is is it renewable or nonrenewable?
Additionally, you need to mine sand and gravel to make concrete
Q:Is there any standard formula to calculate the 1 cubic meter cement for each mix?
Cement quantity of nominal mix 1:2:4 for 1 cubic meter is 6.36 begs. ( 50 kgs / beg) based on 18 begs / 100 cubic feet. how to calculate it for mix 1:3:6? Assumptions: Loose Cement 1440 Kg/ cubic meter Loose Sand 1525 Kg /cubic meter aggregate avarage 1500 Kg / cubic meter 7 cubic meters of loose mix will give 5 cubic meters of solid concrete. 1:3:6, 1 cubic meter of cement + 3 c.m. of sand + 6 c.m. of aggregate will give 10 cubic meters of loose material. when mixed in a mixture will give 10 x ( 5/7) = 7.143 cubic meters of solid containing 1440 Kg of cement. So 1 cubic meter will have 1440 / 7.143 = 201.59 Kg of cement 201.59 / 50 = 4.03 begs/ cubic meters of 1:3:6 mix
Q:what is the Density of Port land cement, and which material is mostly use in cement.?
Typical constituents of Portland cement are CaO: 61-67%; SiO2: 19-23%; Al2O3: 2.5-6%; Fe2O3: 0-6%; various sulfates: 1.5-4.5%. Also, after hardening, Portland cement will slowly absorb CO2 from the atmosphere to form insoluble CaCO3. The density is 1510 kg/m^3 in bags, or 3150 kg/m^3 in mix design.
Q:is it possible to make my pvc cement quot;normalquot; again... because now its all dry...
You would be better off to buy some new stuff, but there is a remote possibility you can make it glue again by mixing some acetone in to it, but, but , but the acetone is more expensive than buying new pvc cement. So the moral of this story is; buy new pvc cement and get used to the idea that the stuff will dry out with some regularity. Actually eventually it all dries out even if you are careful to close the can very tight. It is a universal truth in life. I wish I had $5.00 for every can of that stuff that has gotten hard on me.
Q:When i buy it from a cement supply house they charge me sales tax but when i buy it from home depot or lowes they dont. My accountant told me to be careful since i am responsible for paying my taxes.
Yes. Everything gets taxed. Are you sure Home Depot or Lowes don't charge you tax at the register? That's odd if they don't.
Q:Why don't they just cConcrete anywhere that they have to Cement?
These are called expansion joints----Concrete moves depending on temperature and will crack if it doesn't have a place to give a bit.
Q:Why does the cement tanker have a distinct shape?
Tankers for shipping dry cement on roadways are basically hoppers on wheels. Their shape reflects the desire to empty the tank purely under the influence of gravity. I suspect the slope of the ends is just steep enough to ensure clean, complete dumping.
Q:how do you resurface cement steps?
First check the quality of the cement, it may be inferior to construction standards. When you determine it is good, then you need to rough up the surface with a tool like a chisel to give the new surface a grip. Mix a screened sand with some portland at a 2 to 1 mix and trowel it on with a steel finishing trowel
Q:While cleaning out the garage of a home I recently bought, I found a sealed unlabeled tub with a cement (or concrete) mixture inside. Is there a way to tell if it is Portland, Quickrete, Sakrete, or whatever? Thanks.
Portland cement is the base for all types of concrete and mortar mixes. Some have lime added for adhesion for brick and block work, others have latex additives for strength. There's no way to tell without the label.
Q:I want to put the hands on the cement to shape it. I don't want any chemical contamination occuring where the gloves react in any way with the cement.
This Site Might Help You. RE: what kind of gloves do i use to handle cement? I want to put the hands on the cement to shape it. I don't want any chemical contamination occuring where the gloves react in any way with the cement.
