1.Structure of Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Sheet Description

Hot-dip galvanized steel coils are available with a pure zinc coating through the hot-dip galvanizing process. It offers the economy, strength and formability of steel combined with the corrosion resistance of zinc. The hot-dip process is the process by which steel gets coated in layers of zinc to protect against rust. It is especially useful for countless outdoor and industrial applications. Production of cold formed corrugated sheets and profiles for roofing, cladding, decking, tiles, sandwich walls, rainwater protective systems, air conditioning duct as well as electrical appliances and engineering.

Q:How do we use steel ?plesase answer, its for homework xxx
Iron and steel are used widely in the construction of roads, railways, infrastructure, and buildings. Most large modern structures, such as stadiums and skyscrapers, bridges, and airports, are supported by a steel skeleton. Even those with a concrete structure will employ steel for reinforcing. In addition to widespread use in major appliances and cars steel is used in a variety of other construction-related applications, such as bolts, nails, and screws.Other common applications include shipbuilding, pipeline transport, mining, aerospace, white goods, office furniture, steel wool, tools, and armour in the form of personal vests or vehicle armour.
Q:Im looking to learn guitar and i was wondering if steel strings are too hard to use as a beginner. I am also self teaching so any good lesson books/starting guitar recommendations are welcome !! thanks.
Best way to build calluses and finger strength. I am assuming that you are looking at an acoustic guitar. Buy Martin Phosphor Bronze 12s or 13s. Not to mention Classical guitars that use nylon strings usually have a very flat radius to the fingerboard thus making it harder to reach common chords for a beginner. DO NOT learn on an electric.
Q:Does the solution change, or does only the steel wool change color?
Steel is an iron alloy, and iron is more reactive than copper, so what you'd see is the blue colour of the solution becoming lighter, and a black precipitate appearing on the steel wool.
Q:I work the Copper plating line at a custom plating facility in MI.I like to use jumper cables with the jumper cable clamps to help confirm electric current is getting to my parts that I am plating. The acids in the Acid copper is constantly eating the steel and copper clamps. WIll I get a good enough current through stainless steel clamps? I use stainless steel hooks, but our maintenance man thinks that is one of the reasons why I have prblems with my parts turning out. I still think it has to do with the clamps getting eatin up. My question is Is stainless steel as good or reliable enough to run an electrical current to my parts if I am using stainless steel or is it best to use another method to try and get a better connection. Please state your sources or experience with working with electricity. I need to get honest answers and not this is my opinion. We are talking about my making a living so this is important to me so I can bring food home to my table. Thanks for all the help.
I can only guess. I can't even tell if you are plating some other metal with copper OR if you are plating copper with some other metal. you state that you use the copper clamps only to confirm the current, but I don't see how that works. I suspect that the plating current actually goes through these clamps, so conductivity is very important. But, the conductivity of SS is about 1/5th that of copper, so that will definitely have an effect, and not a good one. .
Q:like building steel beams. i'm pretty sure with a sawzall.
Most I-beams are manufactured in a factory by rolling the red hot steel billet through several sets of rolls till the I-beam takes it's final shape. All we normally do to a factory stock I-beam is cut it to length, trim the ends, punch out the mounting holes and or weld on shear tabs. Some I-beams like tapered ones are built from scratch in the shop using plate steel. In fabricating in the shop, a plasma cutter or cutting torch is used along with a hydraulic plate shear. Repairs during erection, usually a cutting torch because you are several stories in the air. If the beam has to be taken to the ground, still a cutting torch because on a job site power availability is poor to connect a plasma cutter. Wingman
Q:i have recently gotten into DIY and am planning on making my own knife. My question is what kind of steel would be good to use for heat treating if i plan on using water and not oil in the process.
Go to junkyard get old leaf spring, cut out knife, start sharpening. Why waste time heat treating steel when the spring steel as already be done.
Q:Describe and explain how the differences in the properties of the thee main types of steel allow them to be used in different ways. I have some chemistry homework due in for tomorrow (yes I know i left it a bit late but I really don't like chemistry) and I would love it if I could actually at least pretend to my teacher that I know what she's on about this lesson because honestly, I really don't know what she spends so long telling us all. Any help would be appreciated and points for the best answer!
Steel Uses And Properties
Q:What are the pros with stainless steel? You don't have to oil them as much or you don't have to oil them at all?Is the rifling in the barrel typically stainless steel as well? if so, is this better accuracy or does the rifling last longer then conventional?are they worth the extra money? Thanks for any info you can provide!
Stainless Steel Handguns
Q:I'm assuming that brass is flexible, expands and then bounces back to it's original shape. But if aluminum and steel expand and don't contract wouldn't they cause guns to jam more often for example?
Some Blazer/CCI loaded ammo comes with aluminum casings, it is easy to tell because they have a very dull finish compared to the nickel. These cases are not safe to reload. There is also Wolf brand from Russia that has a steel casing, it looks laqured and it may or may not be able to be reloaded.
Q:Steel coil from vertical to horizontal, what sling needs?
The sling has little effect, but it is easy to damage the surface of rolled steel.
