Q:Also ask the industry friends pointing out, in this first thank you. What kind of material does the hydraulic pipe pipe joint use?
Such as carbon steel and cast iron, a much more used, less material costsBut if you're under a lot of pressure, try using carbon steel
Q:well, when I hear the fire alarm goes off I don't care whatever it is i am doing at that time i'll just run out of the building.is it okay to do that if i was in the middle of 2 and i just ran out like that holding a roll of toilet paper in front of my co workers once the fire alarm goes off?
dont put your description in the subject field, give a brief idea of what your problem is (1997 chevy cavalier transmission problem) then go into detail what happened in the larger details area (a step by step description of what happened and what you were doing before and when it happened.)
Q:I have a hard wired smoke alarm that is beeping 1x every 30 seconds. I removed the cover and looked for a battery and could not find anywhere for a battery to be placed.just the wires that the detector is attached to. I have lived in this house for 7 years and this is the 1st time it has chirped. I tried to test/hush it by pressing the test/hush button on the cover.and it is still beeping. I also reset power to the house and no luck. Am I missing something here? Any suggestions?
This is just my opinion, but as far as usage, tubing must be used in every case where O.D. dimension is important. That's why it's used in boilers and heat exchangers, because it must be inserted into the vessel through a hole, and so that dimension is important. The fittings used to join tubing are pretty limited. Above 1 diameter, pipe is almost always used for fluid transfer, because fittings (elbows and tees and stuff) must be used. At 1/8 to 1/2 diameter, you can use either to transfer material, but tubing gets a lot easier to work with as you go down in size.
Q:Sothere was a fire alarm in my guest room that has been doing that little &battery is dying& beep. I've been ignoring it due to sheer laziness to pull out the big bulky ladder. So finally I pulled it out to change the battery, and I changed the battery and it still beepedso then I just completely unplugged it from the wall and took the battery out. And then I heard another one beep in the hall. So I took that one off and took the battery out. And then somewhere in the house another one beeped. What the heck is going on??! Will it stop??!
if u have galvanized pipe in your home I bet all the pipe are reduced in size within the pipe due to corrosion and reducing water pressure. replace as much as u can . your pipr is threaded together. many sections can be unscrewed and new copper or pex fitting and pipe added on. most of this is easy to do yourself
Q:The clothes in Sims 3 are abnormally shiny reflective, unlike realistic material which would be particularly dull (Unless it was silk or plastic or chainmail lol)I was wondering if anyone knew of a fix or mod for this 'problem'?
most people here will tell u not to do it..but you can do it without it affecting the fixtures below.if the drain pipe from the water softener is a hose just loop it to form a trap then connect it if it is hard pipe then just get x tra fittings and make a trap
Q:I am tight on money but i need to buy a vest for jumping. It can be used but in decent condition. Thanks for the suggestions!Btw it can be any color
If it happens again, listen carefully. The one thatis causing the problem will sound different from the others. Take a vacuum cleaner hose to it. Probably it is dirty.
Q:I have an adorable track suit that I purchased from Victoria's Secret ages ago (the kind that nobody ever actually wears for track.. ^_~), and it's made from deep wine-red velour. I went to put it on earlier, and realized that while the *outside* was soft, sensual velour, the *inside* was scratchy and not all that soft. It's the same way with clothing that's satin, or silk, or velvet, or that smooth satin-like fabric that I don't know the name of it always feels wonderful on the *outside*, but *not* on the part that's against my skin. Why is this??
This Site Might Help You. RE: Consumer product safety act of 1972? What was the consumer issue that caused the need for the act? Why the revelent consumer issue became inmportant at the time the act was passed? was there a specific chain of events that led to the legislation who promoted the legislation?
Q:i just bought this suv and i new there were a few things that needed to be fixed. But i cant figure out why the power locks wont work right on the back passenger door and the back hatch they work fine but on both front doors you have to unlock them by hand and the back drivers side wont unlock at all dose anyone have any ideas on how i can figure out what the problem is?? your help is greatly appreciated
The proper way to connect would be to use schedule 80 pipe and fittings, with blue or hot glue. When using threaded joints, Teflon tape is OK, but I also use a pipe joint compound( pipe dope). This will ensure that there are no leaks. You should also install a union somewhere close to this joint, that way, you can access into the pipe system, if you need to! Good luck to you!
Q:a lightning rod of iron of diameter 0.8 cm and length 0.5m is struck by lightning and carries a current of 1 x 10^4 A. What is the potential drop?
If they're standard pipe sizes and the join is purely functional then why not a standard compression fitting from a plumbing hardware store? If you want it to look better then you could insert one pipe inside the other and glue the overlap together- an expoxy should bond to both or silicone sealant for a more flexible bond If you have workshop tools, you could try threading the ends and bolting them together with o-rings to seal What is the fluid to be carried, how permanent a join and what environment will it operate in all need to be defined to give a better answer really!
Q:I mean like if you count the seconds inbetween each lighting flash, is that really how many miles you are from the center of the storm???
