The bigger the rating the less time you may have to wait before trying to start the car. A low peak amps, CA (cranking amps) or CCA (cold cranking amps) will take longer to give the battery enough juice to start with. Think of a jump pack as a battery charger. If you put a charger on 2 amps it might take all night to fully charge a dead battery. Put it on 15 amps and it might take an hour or so. Put it to 100 amp boost and you're down to a few seconds. Do however remember to check the charge status on the jumper pack regularly. They don't hold a charge forever, and it's embarrasing when you go to give someone a jump only to find the pack is also dead!

Q:I have a Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup, the battery pack was held in place by adhesive but has recently come loose. Any ideas for how to re attach it without using a substance that would damage the guitar?
You can use velcro. They sell both sides and you can cut it to the right fit. If the glue on the back of the vecro isn't strong enough, you can always use your own glue to make it permanent. Its on the inside, so don't sweat it so much.
Q:Bought an xbox 360 arcade for the kids for xmas and a second wireless controller for it and the battery packs and charger station both controllers workfine with AA batterys in them yet when we try and use the 2 battery packs that came with the charging station only 1 of them will connect to the console at a time unless I use AA in one of the controllers and one battery pack in the other and it does not matter which controller 1 or 2 as long as we have 1 with AA's and 1 with the rechargeable pack yet we did the connect and they both are connected without using 2 rechargeable packs
Is it always the same battery pack that is unable to connect? Have you checked, that both battery packs are fully loaded? Put both packs into the charging station and let them charge until the lights both turn green. Normally both controllers should be able to connect correctly.
Q:I have put together a 4.8v battery pack for a project I am working on. it consists of 20 1.2v 1200mah cells in 5 groups of 4. if I have done my math correctly, the total current output on this should be 24,000 mah or 24 amp hours. since the voltage is 4.8v and when fully charged the volt meter reads 5.2v across the pos and neg terminals. I need to come up with a charger for this battery pack.I figured on basing it on a 8 hour charge schedule having the charger put out a total of 6400 mah or 6.4 amps. my problem is that I don't know how much higher to have the voltage output on the charger. I read somewhere that for each cell that is 1.2v the charger should put out 1.5v to .1.6v is this true or is there another approach?
