Fabricated or cast iron, surface or underground discharge head, shaft and bearing combinations promote long life with options of open or enclose line shaft construction. It can be driven by VHS NEMA Standard motor, VSS motor or diesel engine through right angle gear box.

Isentroipc Efficiency of a pump = Isentropic Work / Actual Work At state 1, Enthalpy of Saturated Liquid h1 = 413.357 kJ/kg Entopy s1 = 1.29154 kJ/kg-K At state 2, Enthalpy of Liquid at state 2 = 448.042 kJ/kg Now, to find the ideal Enthaply , Enthalpy at 5 M Pa at entropy of 1.29154 kJ/kg-K h2s = 418.462 kJ/kg Thus, Isentropic Work Done I = h2s - h1 = 418.462 - 413.357 = 5.105 kJ/kg Actual Work Done A = h2- h1 = 448.042 - 413.357 = 34.685 kJ/kg Hence, Isentropic Efficiency = I/A = 5.105/34.685 = 14.72%
- Q:My water pump in my pontiac bonneville 99 went bad, and while I was in the navy, in aviation fuels, some of my job consisted of repairing pumps and valves, and rebiulding them all together, and this water pump from my car seems to have some of the same features of previos pumps i've worked on, usualy when i use to repair pumps, most of the time i just replaced the bearings, just wondering if its do-able, im looking for the cheapist way to fix this, the casing for the pump seems to be in very good condition, but havent got it out of my car yet, im short on tools right now for the moment... thanks in advance for any help...
- Don't bother. Water pumps fail on this motor all the time and replacements are plentiful and cheaper than dirt. I won't even use rebuilt water pumps in my shop - we only install new ones because they are much more reliable and the cost difference is literally only a couple of bucks.
- Q:i got that special socket but everytime i try to loosen the pump going clockwise i can not get the pump to come loose the socket just slips off any suggestions these is a northstar engine
- You sure you have the right tool?? There are 2 different tools they came out with. Cant remember the year but Cadillac changed the water pump design which the tools had to change. Neither one will work on the other design. Both almost look the same except the teeth stick further out on the older design. I always use a impact, put the socket on your impact just bump the trigger enough to get the pump to turn a little. But not too much or you'll break the ears of the housing then you'll have to replace the crossover asy I did see you said CLOCKWISE!!!!!! Make sure you are turning it to the direction to tighten, this has the reverse on/off direction

- RV section is probably under cars and transportation, others. On demand pumps are quite common and used in many RV's.
- Q:Whats the difference between a faulty water pump and head gasket? The coolant reservoir has a quot;bubblingeffect when the car is running. I just changed the radiator and filled it. Most of whats in the radiator is water honestly. The car sounds a little rough and sputtery like a head gasket. The spark plugs are dry and I took the cover off and nothing looked watery or moisturous. I also had to change the head and head gasket a month ago. The head gasket didn't have any damage to it so I assumed the head was bad. I used a new head gasket also. Anything else I can check? The car is a 91 corolla.
- a water pump will leak out on the ground and a head gasket will leak into the oil or in the combustion chamber and cause white smoke. a bad water pump will make your engine overheat but before it does that then it will leak or the bearing will go out.

- Q:i have a 2003 dodge neon and my thermostat keeps rising to the highes level setting off the indicator (its not broken) i did have a leak in the raiditor and it was very notice able..after pacthing is up there was noproblem till yesterday now the thermostat keeps rising i admit the is very little antifreeze in ther and the rest is water but the is the same mixture tha was in the care that it was rinning off for the last three minths i cannot seem to keep the thermostat down my raiditor is in nee of repair but i m wondering if its the water pump does the water pum help regulate engine temperture? ther are no ivsible leaks and no drippiage could it be that i just need to put antifreeze or could it be the water pump or a broken raidiator? help i will give points for best anwser but really i just need help!
- I'd say the most likely thing is the thermostat. It is the most common cause of overheating when there is plenty of water in the system. As you already know, the radiator can leak and make it get hot. You can add water and it will stay cool for awhile, until the water leaks out again. The same can be true of a leaky water pump, heater core, or hose. If there is no leak, or no obvious leak, and the system seems to have enough water in it, but it still gets hot it is more than likely the thermostat. The thermostat blocks off the water from the radiator until the engine warms up. It can be damaged by getting too hot (like when you had a bad radiator) and fail soon after. Other possibilities are an electric cooling fan that isn't working, or a blown head gasket.
